If motherhood has taught me anything, it is that time is fleeting and moments with our children are, without exception, too short lived. My camera is filled with photos of my children playing in the dirt, chasing the dogs, and making messes. While I love a picture of my daughters smiling at the camera, the ones of them being themselves are the ones I cherish most. They’re the ones I look back on and not only see, but feel. The seemingly insignificant moments are the real magic of life, the ones that ultimately give it meaning; and they are what we miss most in the future years.
In our frantic and fast-paced lives, it's often the little moments that pass us by unnoticed. We get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of our daily routines that we forget to cherish the small, fleeting instances that bring us joy.
Tiny toes, twirling skirts, tickle fights; they don’t last forever. My passion is preserving them for you.
My family sessions are different. You won’t find me placing you in a perfectly balanced family photo instructing you to smile at the camera.
Instead, you will find me giving your children encouragement to hunt for seashells, pick wildflowers, play tag, and tickle each other. My goal is to be as invisible as possible and capture your natural family interactions, and let your children be children.
They are not designed to sit still, but to play, explore, giggle, and be loved on.
